Ford Introducing Electric Transit Van in 2022

An all-electric version of the Ford Transit van will be coming to Ford dealers starting in 2022. Ford has said the new electric Transit will be available in the United States and Canada. The primary goal is to help businesses become more sustainable, lower their ownership costs and improve air quality and noise levels in cities nationwide.

A leader in the commercial van segment for 35 years with the popular E-Series, Transit and Transit Connect cargo vans, Ford has the experience and technology that help businesses get work done. By buying an all-electric Transit van, owners will get access to Ford’s incredible commercial service network, upfitting services and the largest public charging infrastructure in North America.

Proudly built in the United States, the new all-electric Ford Transit is yet another part of Ford’s $11.5 billion investment in electric vehicle technology. The all-electric Transit joins the already announced electric Ford F-150 and Mustang Mach-E vehicles coming to dealers like Tuttle-Click Ford Lincoln soon.

As in many currently available Ford Commercial Vehicles, the all-electric Ford Transit vans will feature the technology businesses need to optimize efficiency and reduce waste. Features like Ford Telematics, Ford PassConnect with 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot and Ford Data Service tools provide more information to employees and managers both on the go and remotely.

Ford Earns Top 3 Ranking in J.D. Power Dependability Study

Ford Motor Company recently was named as one of the automakers in the top three spots of J.D. Power’s annual Vehicle Dependability Study. The study measures problems experienced during the past year by original owners of three-year-old vehicles.

One of the biggest contributors to Ford’s performance in the study was its SYNC 3 infotainment system. In-car technology is frequently a source of frustration among drivers, and SYNC 3 makes it easy with an intuitive user interface, simple voice commands and smartphone integration.

The F-150 was named the top vehicle in the large light-duty pickup truck segment, and the Mustang earned the top spot for sporty midsize cars. Customers also agree with J.D. Power, and have made the Ford F-150 and Mustang America’s best selling truck and world’s best-selling sports coupe.

“For us, high quality means more than a great experience in the first few months of ownership; it includes a great experience throughout a customer’s ownership journey, and these results affirm our commitment to building high-quality vehicles,” said Lind Cash, Ford vice president of Quality and New Model Launch Program.

2021 Ford Explorer Gets New XLT Sport Appearance Package

As the Ford Explorer celebrates its 30-year anniversary, it continues to be one of the best selling SUVs in the country. The 2020 Ford Explorer was completely redesigned from the ground up, and for 2021 it receives even more features, including a new XLT Sport Appearance Package.

Arriving at Tuttle-Click Ford Lincoln this summer, the 2021 Ford Explorer with the XLT Sport Appearance Package gets unique Carbonized Gray 20-inch wheels with a matching grille, skid plates and hood lettering. It also receives dual chrome exhaust tips to complete the sporty look.

The interior features unique ActiveX Light Slate two-tone seats that feature accent stitching, and the center console lid and door trim panels match as well. When versions of the Sport Appearance Package were offered in the past, it accounted for one-quarter of Explorer XLT sales.

One in five Explorer buyers have also been choosing the Ford Explorer ST, with many trading in vehicles from luxury brands. The 400-horsepower Explorer ST was designed for performance enthusiasts, and offers better power and handling than any Explorer in Ford’s history.

F-150 Raptor: Truck Predator

The 2018 Ford F-150 Raptor is proof positive that the SVT team at Ford is not dead. The aggressive styling and street dominating performance of the Ford Lightning trucks of a few decades ago is the same spirit driving the Baja pre-runner styling and all-road dominance of the 2018 Ford Raptor.

The most prominent feature of the F-150 Raptor is the wide body stance, sporting unique flared fenders and box to keep the massive BF Goodrich rubbers under wraps. The front profile is made even more menacing with the LED amber running lights across the grille. This feature, which is functional and useful on the trail, has become a hallmark of the Raptor series since its introduction that says to anyone in front of you, “time to get out of the way”. It’s a feature that has become so respected and identifying that it is already being copied in the aftermarket.

This and many other features, small and large, serve to make the Raptor the predator of the truck world. Come see all of the awesome features at Tuttle-Click Ford Lincoln.
