All-Electric F-150 Lightning Pickup Truck Announced

America’s best selling pickup truck for over four decades is about to get its biggest advancement ever with the introduction of the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning, which will soon be available at Tuttle-Click Ford Lincoln and is available to reserve now. Ford engineers worked tirelessly to ensure that the F-150 Lightning can stand up to all of the work that F-150 owners do on a daily basis, while also including a ton of new technology.

With dual in-board electric motors, standard four-wheel drive, and a choice of two large battery packs, the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning is built to take on tough terrain, bad weather, and anything else you can throw at it. Up to 10,000 pounds of towing capacity and 2,000 pounds of payload capacity also make it one of the most capable trucks on the road.

The extra power and torque from the electric motors doesn’t just help with towing either. The F-150 Lightning is one of the most powerful versions of the F-150 ever made – with an impressive 563 horsepower and 775 lb.-ft. of torque (the most of any F-150 ever) and an estimated 0-60 time as low as the mid-4 second range. Combined with new independent rear suspension, the F-150 Lightning offers an exhilarating drive that is both quiet and comfortable as well.

The new 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning is just one of Ford’s new all-electric vehicles that are part of the company’s push to electrify more of its lineup, which includes the new Mustang Mach-E and Ford E-Transit. Pro features like the built-in generator that can power your house, in-bed scales, and the lockable front trunk are just a few of the useful features Ford thought of when designing the F-150 Lightning.

Ford is also going to be working to make the F-150 Lightning better over time, with over-the-air updates that can add new features to the vehicle. SYNC 4A is available as well, and can be optioned with a large 15.5-inch touchscreen that has built-in Amazon Alexa, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. 2022 Ford Super Duty Gets Big Upgrades

As the leader in trucks for the past 44 years, Ford knows that innovation is key to remaining on top. The 2022 Ford Super Duty line of heavy duty pickup trucks are no exception, and are receiving several big upgrades for the new model year, including updated appearance packages, new technology, and new options.

The biggest change to the 2022 Ford Super Duty is the addition of an all-new, landscape 12-inch center touchscreen that comes standard on all Lariat and higher trim levels. Integrated with SYNC 4, this large touchscreen gives easy access to functions like navigation, music, settings and the all-new digital owner’s manual.

With increased processing power, the new SYNC 4 system can also go wireless for the first time with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and SYNC AppLink apps can go wireless too. Now you can get in your Super Duty and get notifications, navigation, messaging and more without having to take your phone out of your pocket.

There is a new Lariat Sport Appearance Package being offered as well, which includes body-colored bumpers, mirrors, and grille for a sleeker look. The popular Black Appearance Package is also now available on Super Duty XLT models for 2022, and includes 20-inch Ebony Black painted wheels, body-color front and rear bumpers, and even black Blue Oval logos.

Ford has also introduced new interior and exterior colors for the 2022 Super Duty, including Atlas Blue for the exterior, and Baja, Navy Pier and Light Slate for optional interior colors on certain trim levels.
